“Front Row Seat Movie Review”
Surprisingly, I give the movie “It’s Complicated” four barbeque bones. This was not a movie I wanted to go see. “It’s Complicated” was chosen by my wife and her “play sister” who attends the movies with us, along with heir husband on “date night”. I enjoy the comedy of Steve Martin and the performance of Meryl Streep but there was nothing in the trailer to peek my interest. Go see “It’s Complicated” with a date you will be laughing in the theater and leave the theater holding hands. Guys, if your date is laughing in the theater you can reach over and place your arm around her this move also works in a scary movies.
The name of my movie review is “Front Row Seat Movie Review”.

Jane (Streep) is the mother of three grown kids, owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has—after a decade of divorce—an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, attorney Jake (Baldwin). But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son’s college graduation, things start to get complicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable—an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness (Lake Bell), Jane is now, of all things, the other woman.
Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam (Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane’s kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he’s become part of a love triangle.
Should Jane and Jake move on with their lives, or is love truly lovelier the second time around? It’s…complicated. —© Universal
